Dakota Hills Winery is a part of our North Dakota family farm, more to the point it is a state
licensed domestic winery and a federal permit and bonded winery. My wife and young son happily host about 4,000 visitors
a year. These folks are offered free wine tasting and tours of our winery and farm. From picking fresh fruit to
enjoying farm animals, bird watching and other wild life, to just taking in the beautiful North Dakota scenery.
We raise
the grapes and 15 other fruits for handmade wines. We do this with a committment to the enviorment we all live in.
Although, we are not yet certified organic we do utillize natural management practices in our fruit and wine production.
Should we invite visitors to pick themselves some fruit to eat they can rest assured our seven year old son picks and eats
it too. Of course, he is supposed to be picking fruit for the winery.
Relationalship Agriculture is the
mind set we endeavor to put into practice daily. This means our relationship to the land, the community, our family,
our faith, and our customers. When people choose to share our wine with their family and friends they can rest assured
this committment is represented in every glass of wine they enjoy.
